Units for the first stage of the £419 million Rochester Riverside development have gone on sale.
One and two-bed apartments, as well as three and four-bed terraced, semi-detached and detached houses are all up for sale, with the government's Help to Buy scheme available on all properties, which start at £199,950.
The project, a joint development by Countryside Housing and Hyde Group, is part of a seven-phase masterplan set to transform the four-hectare site on the banks of the river.
It will feature 1,400 new homes, a hotel, commercial space, a new school and more than four hectares of landscaped green space with a 2.5km riverside walkway.
The sales and marketing suite at Rochester Riverside was officially opened in November 2018 by Alan Jarrett, the leader of Medway Council.
Jarrett said: “Rochester Riverside is an exciting development and is fundamental to our monumental regeneration programme, which will provide growth for all.
“I am pleased the development is progressing well and it is no surprise to hear that there is already a lot of interest in the new homes. Medway is already a great place to live, work, learn and visit, and Rochester Riverside is another area which provides opportunities for all.”
