Armed Forces Day has recognised the men and women, both past and present, who are part of the Armed Forces community since its inception in 2008. Developer TopHat will support the event and will set up a stall to provide information on available homes and the government’s Help to Buy scheme, which is available on all properties.

Steven Georgiou, senior sales manager at TopHat said: "We are delighted to be sponsoring such a treasured and highly respected event. It is vital to us that we maintain the military heritage of the previously known Chatham Infantry Barracks and continue to celebrate this historic location. Armed Forces Day is a great community day and we would like to encourage everyone to come and pay us a visit – we'd love to see you there."

Comprising 300 apartments and houses, the £14.4 million project launched in Chatham in April 2018, incorporating the refurbished former barracks building with homes starting from £299,500.
