New homes are coming soon to the Peters Village development in Wouldham, Kent, following the completion of a land deal by housebuilder Ashberry Homes.

The developer has purchased a new parcel of land in Lower Peters Village, where it plans to build two, three, four and five-bedroom houses and two-bedroom apartments, to be known as Buckland Rise.

Peters Village is being built on the former site of the Peters Wouldham Hall Cement Works, off Hall Road, on the east bank of the river Medway, and will feature up to 1,000 new homes, community facilities and open space when complete.

Chris Moore, managing director for Ashberry Homes Kent, said: "We're planning to build a range of properties to meet the needs of local buyers at all stages of life, whether they're first-time buyers, families wanting more space, or those looking for the perfect place to retire.

"We're now looking forward to starting construction on site and getting ready to release the first plots for sale. In the meantime, anyone interested should keep an eye on our website for when we release more details – and they will then be able to sign up to receive the latest updates about the development too."
