As part of its second phase, Bellway has unveiled a range of homes for sale at its Portland Gardens development, on the east bank of the Medway in Wouldham.

Comprising two to four-bedroom homes, the gardens project is part of the Peters Village development, which is being built on the former site of the Peters Wouldham Hall Cement Works, off Hall Road.

Situated six miles north of Maidstone, the development benefits from close links to Ebbsfleet and Rochester stations, which provide fast transport links to London and the coast.

Sales manager for Bellway's Kent division, Caron Hutchins, said there was a lot of interest shown by customers: "One of the main selling points for Portland Gardens is its location on the bank of the river Medway, and this selection of homes benefit from truly stunning views along the river."

"As soon as we started selling homes here, we were receiving enquiries from people about these riverfront properties, and it's easy to see why; riverside living is aspirational for many home-hunters who are looking to enjoy the serenity of the location, and the views that this sort of home offers."
