Green residential schemes launch by the river

Tue 13 July 2010, 3:11 pm

Energy efficient waterside living is to become a reality in Medway with the launch of two new schemes at St Mary’s Island.
Countryside Maritime’s developments The Sail Loft and Riverside Quarter, which are joint ventures with the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), have already been attracting enquiries from buyers.

Chris Crook, subsidiary managing director of Countryside Properties, said: "St Mary’s Island, Chatham Maritime, is one the most idyllic and scenic locations to purchase property in the South East.

"Both The Sail Loft and Riverside Quarter are ideal developments to live at; not only because of their serene waterside surroundings, but also due to the quality workmanship and high eco ratings of the properties. We are proud to say the homes at Riverside Quarter will achieve a Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4."
