New homes in Hoo

by Marco Cillario Fri 3 June 2016, 10:39 am

A former farm site in Hoo St Werburgh is to be redeveloped to provide up to 50 new homes.

On 3 May 2016, Medway Council gave the go-ahead to an outline planning application lodged by AC Goatham and Son for the Street Farm site on Stoke Road. Approval is subject to a Section 106 agreement.

The developer intends to build a series of two, three and four-bedroom houses on the 1.8-ha site.

Open space, landscaping and infrastructure will also be provided.

The activities currently carried out on Street Farm, connected to fruit storage, will be relocated to the nearby Flanders Farm.
