The Fountain Workshop, a team of designers, artists and engineers, located at the dockyard in Chatham, has appointed a new director.
Ben Hampshire, who was appointed to the role this month (July), was the organisation’s first employee, joining in 1996.
A statement from The Fountain Workshop read: “Instrumental in helping us reach where we are today, Ben’s promotion to project director marks a progressive new phase for our company and we feel certain it will have a positive effect on all of us as we move forward.”
The Medway company has recently secured planning permission for three water features in Battersea. It has designed and constructed The Granary Squirt in King's Cross, The Water Labyrinth in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and three water features at the More London development on the south bank of the Thames.
