The Heart of Medway Housing Association, part of the mhs homes group, has received more than £2 million of funding from the Homes and Communities Agency.
The funding is for the 2015 – 2018 development programme, with plans in place to build 800 homes in Medway over the next four years.
Tom Casey, development manager at mhs homes, said: ““We are thrilled that we have been allocated the full amount of grant funding requested from the Homes and Communities Agency, which will help us to provide quality homes for local people.
"This financial year will see us build homes outside of Medway for the first time in our 25 year history, as well as continuing to invest in schemes across the Medway towns."
