The current phase of homes at Countryside Properties' £241 million Riverside Quarter development on Medway's St Mary's Island in Chatham, totalling 42 units, are now 90 per cent sold.
The overall project has seen 1,277 homes built and occupied on the island, with the current phase of 42 homes due to be completed and occupied by September and a further 42 to be finished by the end of the year.
Outline planning permission has been secured for the scheme to deliver 1,700 homes in total, with the remaining 339 units forecast to be built by March 2021.
Tony Travers, managing director of the new homes and communities division of Countryside Properties, said: "The apartments at Riverside Quarter on St Mary’s Island offer an incredibly serene location with fantastic views across the River Medway.
"To date, they have been very popular with a wide range of buyers including those looking to downsize from a larger home but retain a fantastic quality of life. This phase of new homes is almost sold out, with just five two-bedroom apartments remaining.
"However, the next phase - The Fishing Village, comprising three and four–bedroom houses, is available now for early reservations. The completion of this phase is planned for the end of 2014, with the remaining homes on St Mary’s Island being due for completion by Spring 2021."
