Firm looks to develop Chatham car park

Thu 22 November 2012, 3:40 pm

Property firm Gallan Group has bought a redundant car park in Chatham with the intention of building a multi-storey mixed-use development on the site.

It acquired the one-acre site in Cambridge Terrace - a former Marks & Spencer staff car park - last month, website InsiderMedia reported.

It said Gallan would be submitting its proposals for the £9 million development later this year.

The plans are understood to include homes, leisure units, a hotel, offices and student accommodation.
