A new housing strategy for Kent and Medway has called for more central government funding for transport infrastructure.

The in-depth document also called for a reduction in bureaucracy for builders and measures to help first-time buyers.
It also calls for a bottom-up approach to housing growth in the wake of the abolition of the South East Plan, with district, borough and unitary authorities working together to secure adequate investment for the county.
