A £2.5m road improvement scheme to benefit bus passengers and cyclists has started in Rochester. (Sourced from BBC Kent.)
The government-funded work is set to give more priority to buses, bicycles and pedestrians and reduce traffic congestion in Corporation Street.
Councillor Phil Filmer said the work would transform the "key road" for all who used it and lived close to it.
The project is due to be completed next year and work will be suspended during Christmas and the Dickens Festival.
